I am a Porter High School Graduate of the class of 1989.  I attended Connors State College

and Northeastern State University and graduated in the spring of 1993 with a

Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood. I am certified in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  

This will be my 23th year of teaching at Porter.   I have taught First Grade for 22 years,

  and one year of Pre-K.  I love teaching my first graders to read, and seeing the

excitement in their eyes when they learn something new.

My husband Don and I have been married for 25 years.  We live in Porter, and have been

blessed with three amazing children.  Kassie is 21,  Mikayla is 18, and Creed will be 12 in August. 

 I enjoy spending time with my family, attending my children's school activities, 

and teaching bible class.
