I started teaching here in Porter in 2004. I taught self contained 3^rd grade for 9 years. I was the Math teacher for 3rd-5^th for one year.  I took two years off from teaching and returned back to the classroom in 2016. I taught 2^nd grade in Hilldale for one year. I am very excited to be back in Porter teaching, this is where my heart is….

This will by my 12th year to teach, 10 of them are here in Porter.  I am looking forward to new school year and I’m excited to be a Pirate again! This year I will be the English Language Arts teacher.

I have been married to Jim for almost 23 years. We have two children. Jessica is 18 and will be attending SAGU in Waxahachie,  TX playing basketball for the Lady Lions.  Jon will be in the 8th grade here in Porter. We have 2 dogs both are schnauzers, Journey a tea cup and James a giant.

I love flamingos. I love to be in the water, preferably  the ocean, but the lake will do. Basketball is my favorite sport. And I love teaching!
