Friday January 26^th we took the opportunity to recognize former PHS basketball All-State recipients.  Jerry Walker – 1963;    Frank Linzy – 1959; Todd Godsby – 1987; Clifford Marshall – 1993; Jeremy Hogan – 1995; and Jacob Richardson – 2013.

Tuesday January 30^th we recognized the 1958 and 1993 State Runner-Up teams. It was great to see some familiar Pirate faces in the stands. Each team member and coach received a plaque, along with a piece of the old gym wooden floor with their name on it.  The 1958 team was made from the old gym that was torn down. The 1993 team was made from the floor just removed from the old gym (known to them as the “new gym”).  Hamlin’s catered the affair serving the team members, coaches and family members.
